Karen

  • Engineering Project: BSS Cloud Migration

    • New Project - under Project Management Team

      • Objective

Modernize our building server service ("BSS") infrastructure by moving to a modern, centralized cloud-based system. Goals are:

        1. Need to have the ability to scale to meet new market demands with large partners (agnostics), i.e., have the ability to deliver a solution for the OEMs (i.e., the OTIS RFP) - where we can publish an API or they can call an HTML > Deliver by end of Q1 2020

        2. Develop a new cloud-based product incorporating the functionality of the current services and which is decoupled from proprietary hardware.> Upgrading our stuff comes after

        3. We will migrate to AWS (Azure, Google, something). While moving to AWS is not a goal of the product, it is a move in support of the goal

        4. Tight integrated solution with NetSuite to make the "source of truth" NetSuite, but may go from NetSuite to the data lake and then elsewhere, but originates at NetSuite

        5. Increase cyber0security and transparency of our building server service

    • Phase 1 - Discovery work documenting current components and workflows. 2 weeks.

      • Building Server Service components, Schedule, Health Logs, Time Synchronization, etc.

    • Phase 2 - Cloud Migration

    • Team Site Created: Cloud Migration

  • Working with Logan data on AWS infrastructure.

    • Defining account architecture

      • Accounts: Root, Central (Console), Audit, Shared Services (Jenkins), Team (Engineering, EngineeringSB)

  • Summer Friday

Stacey

  • Off Friday for Golf Tournament

  • CRM to NetSuite - get Cases into Sandbox 2

    • Waiting for John to put cases in.

  • Vistar Weekly Report

  • Campsite Weekly Report

  • Report for Stats

Tom

  • Sent 2018 reports to Stacey on 7/23, just needs formatting; next up is the 2017 (today)

    • Canadian lobby to be added; introduced end of 2018.

  • Tom to tell Julia which reports are missing.

Frank

  • Traffic System - need a quote from Rackspace for additional storage in order to move forward with the upgrade

  • Need to get clarification on workflow for Campsite. Will work with Campsite and Julia to nail that down so CoreValue can proceed with development

  • In NetSuite QA, there are duplicate tables on the backend which is confusing CoreValue. Examples are Network_Venue_2, Server_2, etc. Need to understand why there are two, and which table set to use

    • Frank to send Stacey a full list of the tables, for John. (This was a bundling problem, created by John)

  • Rich_Media_Type and Symptom tables are missing from NetSuite QA. What is the status of NetSuite QA? Is all the data loaded, and all the code/forms/etc. moved over there yet?

Julia

  • Will use the old process to do Revenue Sharing; then will try to firm up the reporting for RevenueShare.

  • Check in on the Rubicon unique id conversion

  • AJ has found discrepancies in Canadian venue for Campsite; AJ looking into Vistar consistency and has already updated the Vistar venues which needed to be added to Vistar Canada. Doing some SQL and doing ok! Also, learning Excel.

  • Began the initiative to update all the creative categories in Vistar (CoreValue).

    • Hope is to reduce exceptions from the Vistar Processing.

  • Boostr integration going well, beginning UAT. Date moved to 8/19. Will need to provide data 4 days out.

    • Pivotal - currency not required for parent accounts; can do some reporting at higher level.

    • Pivotal will probably remain the main source for reporting with the exception of CRM reporting (leads, etc).

    • Hans asked to produce a process document for the A/R document and how it will integrate best with NetSuite. (For Andrea)

      • Flights are captured in Pivotal now as monthly IO’s. The concern is that when the IO lines are sent to Boostr, Boostr sends all of these to Netsuite.

        • Extra lines may be sent!

    • Snowflake Synchronization

      • Not deleting records which have been deleted in production.

      • Procedure Maria created, does not catch deleted records

      • 30 day thing is not the issue

      • May need Pablo’s help, convert binary to int.

Action items

@Julia Murphy Follow up with Hans regarding process document and to make sure he understands the issue.
@Frank Sorrento (Unlicensed) Review stored procedure to see if we can find a different way to get the deleted records loaded and then marked as deleted in Snowflake.
@Frank Sorrento (Unlicensed) Reach out to Campsite to better understand workflow.
